Adrift Skate

"Move Without Permission"

The Background

More than everyone else, skaters hate being advertised to. So how do we approach that as a small skate shop in Toronto?

We use our ad budget to get fined for tagging our ads around the city. It earns us respect and gives us some of the coolest-looking advertising out there.

We also built a device to cover “skate stoppers,” letting skaters reclaim the curbs they want.

Finally, guerrilla skate parks would be set up around the financial district to give skaters a spot to use.
